William and Mary's going out guide

Let's start with The Green Leafe, which in my opinion has the best and most diverse array of specials. On Monday, all microbrew bottles are $3 until 9:00, an especially good deal if coupled with the half price burgers. Pitchers and pints of East Coast beers are half off on Tuesdays until 9:00, but unfortunately there is no longer karaoke. On Wednesdays, there is live music in addition to half off bottles of wine and half off West Coast and European draft beers until 9:00. Thursday nights boast of $5 cocktails and shakers until 9:00, with a DJ later in the night. Friday is "you call it" night, meaning that well drinks (house liquors) are $5 and call drinks (upscale liquors) are $6 until 9:00. My favorite special is mug margaritas on Saturdays until 9:00. For $7 you can fill up one of the Leafe mugs to the brim with an on-the-rocks margarita. By themselves, mugs cost $7. On Sunday's drink menu there is "world famous mug night," as the Leafe calls it. I hardly believe that people come from around the world to fill up a plastic mug with beer…but you should! For about $1 more than the price of a pint, you can get an entire mug filled with the beer of your choice. There is also mug night on Wednesdays, which is only for William & Mary seniors who have purchased a special senior mug. From 7:00 until around 10:30, seniors purchase the mugs, then the special continues until close.
Next on the list is Paul's Deli. Unlike the Leafe, the specials are pretty straightforward and consistent. For those that want to start their night early, pints are $1 off from 4:00-7:00 every day. High balls (ex: Jack and Coke, Gin and Tonic) are $1.50 from 7:00-9:00 on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays. On Wednesday through Saturday, there are different $1 beer specials from 7:00-9:00, my personal favorite being $1 Coronas on Wednesdays. Sadly, Paul's orders a fixed amount of the special bottles, so they tend to run out before 9:00.
